Robert Kirkland

Robert Kirkland, age 85 of Maryville passed away Monday, June 12th at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was retired from Maryville College with 44 years of service in the maintenance department. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Kay Kirkland; wife of 52 years, E Lucille Kirkland; son, Charles Randall Kirkland; granddaughter, Emily Nelson; parents, H. Charles and Bertha Kirkland.

Survivors include daughters, Wilma Nelson (Terry), Janet Kirkland; daughter-in-law, Kim Kinkead; grandsons, Nicholas Kirkland and Elijah Kirkland; granddaughters, Stephanie Knight (Britton), Sara Bivens; great-grandchildren, Baylee and Lucy Knight; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 1:30PM for a graveside at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Nelson and Pastor Allen Tyler officiating.
