Robert Joe Culberson

Robert Joe Culberson-born July 8, 1938 in Alcoa, TN, died peacefully Saturday, November 1, 2014, surround by his family at Life Care Center of Red Bank. He attended Alcoa High School and served in the United States Marine Corp 1955-1957. During his lifetime he worked as a newspaper printer, welder, addictions counselor, and mail carrier. Preceded in death by his parents, Waylon Clyde and Elsie Culberson; brother-in-law, Charles Tulloch. Survivors include his sister, Jean Tulloch of Maryville; brother, James (Anita) Culberson of Greenville, SC; his children, Joy (Allen) Garrett, Judy (Jack) Chin all of Maryville, Joseph (Melissa) Culberson of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Justin (Jessica) Culberson of Harrison, TN; grandchildren; Emily, Jennifer, James, Kaylee, Karissa, Kadie, and Lilah; great grandchild, Asia; many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow with Rev. Bruce S. Marston officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:00 am Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. Many thanks to the Life Care Center of Red Bank for their compassion.
