Robert Edward Beasley

Robert E. "Bob" Beasley, 86, of Owensboro, KY, a veteran of the Korean War and retired from American Airlines, passed away after a battle with cancer November 6, 2018. He was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church, Owensboro, KY. He served 50 years as a deacon in church's in St. Louis, MO and Mt. Juliet, TN. A faithful, caring, and loving servant of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. & Beatrice S. Beasley; and siblings, Norton Beasley and Cecile White. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Caldwell Beasley; daughter and son-in-law, Ginger & Max Hatley; grandchildren, Max Hatley II and Courtney Hatley; brother and sister-in-law, Jim & Joyce Beasley; sister and brother-in-law, Susie & Bob Sizemore. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the service and interment to follow, Pastor Greg Long officiating. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to Pleasant Grove Cemetery or Gideons International.
