Robert Alexander Anderson, Jr.

Robert Alexander Anderson, Jr., age 92, of Greenback passed away December 12, 2024. He was a longtime member, Elder, Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher at Greenback First Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was the chairman of the National Campground. He was an active dairy and beef cattle farmer and a feed and animal health salesman for the TN Farmers Coop. He was an active board member for the Loudon County Farm Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Aileen Clemmer Anderson; parents, Robert and Carrie "Edna" Anderson Sr.; infant brother, William “Billy” Horace Anderson.

He is survived by his son, Rocky Anderson (Sheila); daughters, Robin Anderson Cook, Karen Anderson Aldridge (Dean); grandchildren, Alex Anderson (Jessica), Billy Anderson (Keisha), Andrew Cook (Brianna), Carrie Cook, Rob Cook (Denice), Thomas Cook, Clayton Aldridge, Grayson Aldridge (Jessa), Allison Aldridge; great-grandchildren, Emma Anderson, Ben Anderson, Tate Anderson, Tucker Anderson, Tynlee Anderson, MacKenna Cook, Paxton Cook, Polly Cook, Mathilda Cook.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Greenback First Presbyterian Church and a service will follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Nick Perkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM. Monday, December 16, 2024, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
