Robert A. Drescher

Drescher, Robert A., age 80 of Maryville, passed Tuesday, May 7th, 2002 at Light House Haven Retirement Care. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. on February 27th 1922. He was a veteran of four years in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle Riegel Drescher and Casper Drescher. He is survived by his wife, Margery Baker Drescher; sons and daughters-in-law, James Drescher and Diane Donahue Drescher of Plano, TX, Edward Van D’Elden and Sandra Clough Van D’Elden of Amherst, NY; son, Paul Drescher of Oak Hill, Ohio; grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Alex Waraksa officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church following the service on Saturday.
