Richard Wheeler Hackler Sr. age 59 of Friendsville passed away Sunday, April 21st, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Survivors include: Wife, Gina McDowell Hackler. Sons, Richard Hackler Jr. and Daniel Hackler both of Maryville. Chris Hackler of Sweetwater. Daughter, Kathy Bryant of Sweetwater. Step-sons, Timmy Hackler of Sweetwater and Buford Hackler of Etowah. Step-daughters, Sandra Hackler of Greens back and Marie Bates of Sweetwater. Several grandchildren. Brothers, Early Rose Hackler, Bobby Hackler, Henry Hackler, Paul Hackler, Charles Dunlap, Jimmy Dunlap., and adopted brother Larry Dunlap.. Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Tuesday at Friends Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
