Richard Patrick Nichols

September 17, 1954 — February 1, 2022

Richard Patrick Nichols, age 67, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022. He retired from UT Campus after 25 years and was involved with the 1982 World’s Fair. He was the owner and operator of “Poor Richards Western Store.” He loved his family and his church.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Nichols; daughter, Renee (Tim) McKeehan; son, Aaron Nichols; grandchildren, Kayla and Evelyn McKeehan, Elijah, Heather and Natalie Nichols; mother, Patricia Nichols; brother, Ronnie Sizemore Stevens; sisters, Anne Mendes and Glenda Gillespie.

Family and friends may pay their respects Friday, February 4th from 9:00-3:00 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 5th at Ballards Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 PM at Hillview Baptist Church, 2759 Mentor Rd., Louisville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
