Richard Mark Monroe

Monroe, Richard Mark, age 41 of Greenback, died Saturday May 17th 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Monroe; sister, Judith Monroe and stepfather, Floyd Miller. Survivors include: wife, LeeAnn Monroe; daughter, Tayler Bryant; sons, Logan Monroe, Richard Monroe, Jr. and Steven and Zac Williams; mother, Naomi Miller of Knoxville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Randall Cook and Connie and David Debuty all of Knoxville; sister, Susan Monroe of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Shirley Monroe, Jerry and Sandy Monroe and Mike and Evelyn Monroe all of Knoxville; brother, Jackie Monroe of FL; several nieces, nephews and many many friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the John Oliver Cabin in Cades Cove with Rev. Tyson McKeehan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Candace LeeAnn Monroe, 5633 Morganton Road, Greenback, TN 37742 for a trust fund for his children.
