Richard L. "Rick" Phillips

Richard L. "Rick" Phillips, age 73 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, at home. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, served 25 years as Director of Ceremonies at TN Veterans Cemetery, Lyonsview Pike. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennifer Lynn Phillips; parents, Everett Seaborne Phillips and Mildred Rice Phillips; brothers, and sister, Stephen Phillips, Patricia Phillips, Mike Phillips; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Andy and Elsie Hatley; brother-in-law, Allan Wright; sister-in-law, Marilyn Clark. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Phillips; sons, Corbin Phillips and wife Gina, Randy Phillips and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Augusta and Arbor Phillips, Jackson Phillips; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Phillips of Wichita, KS; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donnie and Fran Hatley of Louisville; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wright of Brandon, FL; 14 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel Pastor Ray Couey officiating. The interment will be at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maryville First Nazarene Missions Fund.
