Richard E Hancox

Richard E. Hancox age 83 of Maryville passed away Friday February 16th 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Maryville Furniture Company after 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynn Waters Hancox, parents, Elmer H and Beulah Stephens Hancox. Sisters, Jeanne Burns, Barbara Tipton, Dot Rossell, Caroline Barilone and Judy Brauninger. He is survived by his sister Sandra Ross and several neices and nephews. Goddaughter, Mary Lynn Hyche of Huntsville AL. Special Friend, Gro Erikson. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 Monday. The interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
