Richard Duane Long

Richard Duane Long, age 73, of Greenback passed away October 17, 2022, at his home. He was born in Indiana. He attended Greenback High School. He worked at the Aluminum Company of Alcoa for 35 years. He attended First Baptist Church of Friendsville. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tennie Marie Long.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Long; son, Dustin (Leann), and grandchildren Charlie and Eliza of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; and son Matt (Chelsi), and grandchildren Mattox and Anna of Greenback.

Many thanks to the staff at DCI of Maryville, and Fresenius Dialysis Clinic, Lenoir City, for all the loving care for several years.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00, Thursday, October 20th, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service at 2:00 PM, at Oakland Trigonia Cemetery with Rev. Bill Gowder officiating.
