Reba Parks Thompson

Reba Belle Parks Thompson - age 88 went to be with the lord January 5,2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Van Thompson; siblings, James ''Pat'' Parks, Margaret Parks Harrison, and five of her six children; Kenneth Harold, Billy Hoyt, Helen Joyce, Larry Dale, and Jimmy Darrell Thompson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Don and Janet Thompson; former daughter-in-law, Ann (Thompson) Presley; four grandchildren, Robin Warwick, Leigh Ann Leftwich, Vance Thompson, Daniel Thompson; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 :30 to 2:30 at Everett Hills Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2:30 with Rev. Gene Ody Rev. Joe Caldwell and Rev. Ted Witchen officiating. The interment will be 4:30 P.M. Sunday in Corinth Cemetery in Loudon, TN. In lieu of flowers friends wishing to do so may make memorial gifts to Friends of the Tennessee Infant Parent Services, 2726 Island Home Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37920. Friends of TIPS serves families whose babies have disabilities.
