Reba Faye Mcdaniel

MCDANIEL, Reba Faye Kerr, a Godly wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with Jesus on January 9, 2006. After a long and courageous battle, she passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 22, 1933, to Lloyd and Lela Kerr, who preceded her in death. She was devoted to her family, friends, and Church, West Maryville Baptist. She was very active and held many offices in her churches throughout her lifetime. She will also be remembered for her card sending, sending hundreds of cards each year. Many people told her family, “Reba Faye was the sweetest woman I ever knew”. Some of her last words were, “I love everyone”. She taught us how to live, and how to die - always smiling. She made a difference. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Keith McDaniel; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tim Standridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Vicki McDaniel, Rick and Beth McDaniel; 9 grandchildren, Kim McDaniel, Ryan and Morgan McDaniel, Katie Standridge Householder, Kara Standridge Caldwell, Emilie, Rachel, Izaak, and Josiah Standridge; 6 great grandchildren, Luke, Kassidy and Elijah Householder, and Victoria, Taylor, and Caleb Caldwell; sisters, Wanda Jackson and Betty Burchfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrell and Sandra Kerr, Mayford and Judy Kerr; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom McLemore and Rev. Bill Dixon officiating. The interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Special thanks to Angie and Pat and all Hospice workers.
