Rc Leming

Rev. RC Leming, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at home. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, Townsend, where he served as Pastor from 2007-2015. Previously, he was Pastor at Sundown Campground for 22 years. He served in the Army from 1955-1960 in the Military Police, 101st Airborne and 44th Ranger Company. He was retired from ALCOA with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Janie Leming; brothers, Richard Leming, Clyde Leming, Lee Bennett; sisters, Ruthann McGinnis, Rosie Leming. Survivors include wife of 55 years, Phyllis White Leming; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry Whitehead; grandson, Cole Whitehead "Papa's Buddy"; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Martha Leming; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Wilson and Rev. Jack Huskey officiating. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice. The family requests that Rev. Leming's minister friends come and sit together as Honorary Pall Bearers at the service Tuesday evening.
