COULTER, Phyllis Nicely, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Saturday May 12, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong member of Maryville First Baptist Church. Phyllis devoted her life to family, including the family business, where she greeted everyone with contagious enthusiasm. She will be remembered by the community as the voice of Coulter’s Florist. One of her greatest passions in life was her constant and unwavering love of her son and lifelong devotion to every aspect of his life. Her joyful spirit spread like wildfire to all those around her and she will be remembered as an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose blood runneth U.T. orange. She was preceded in death by father J.M. Nicely, mother Blanche Nicely, son Philip Franklin Coulter, sister Betty Bingham, brother Julius Nicely, brother-in-law Charles R. Coulter, Jr., nephews Todd Coulter and Philip Nicely. She is survived by husband Kenneth, son Kenny and wife Ann, grandchildren and spouses, Kenna and Denny Garner, Brett and Maria Coulter, Kim Coulter Stafford, and Karen Coulter, great-grandchildren, Cole Garner, Bradley, Brian, and Madison Coulter, sisters-in-law, Chris Nicely and Ethel Coulter, nieces and nephews, Norman Bingham, Sue Terry, Steve Bingham, Marty Nicely, Alan Nicely, Robbie Nicely, Amy Hatcher, Arlene Hicks, Cheryl Long, special cousin, Bill Henry. Funeral services will be Tuesday May 15, 2007 at 8 P.M. in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The interment service will be Wednesday at 10 A.M. in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982- 6812.
