Perry P. Paine, Jr.

PAINE, JR., Perry P., age 65 of Louisville, died Sunday, October 7, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, a prominent attorney for 46 years from Maryville who served many surrounding counties, was a member of the American Bar Association and a member of Green Meadow Country Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry P. Paine, Sr. and Maude Davis Paine; sister, Kathryn McConnell. Survivors include: wife, Deanna West Paine; son, Tom Paine and his children, Wilson and Peyton Paine; son, David Paine and his children, Leah, Davis and Lee Paine; daughter and son- in-law, Rebecca and Tracy Martin and their children, Dorianna and Drake Martin all of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, George and Pat Paine of Friendsville; sisters and brothers- in-law, Barbara and Irving Stone of Dallas, TX, Marlene and Gene Alton of Mims, FL; brother- in-law, Dr. R. W. McConnell of Greenville, NC ; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Dr. James A. Dougherty and Rev. Charles Bryan officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Grandview Cemetery.
