Pearl Roberts Delozier

Pearl Roberts DeLozier, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Monday morning, July 31, 2017, at Williamsburg Villas. She was born in Cades Cove. She was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she taught a Childrens Sunday School Class for over 50 years as well as serving faithfully in Womans Missionary Union for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell DeLozier; parents, J. Witt and Margaret Roberts; brothers, Eugene Roberts and James W. Roberts, Jr.; sister, Velma Adams. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Don Trundle of Powell, Betty and Steve Reagan of Maryville, Beverly and Dale Bud Tucker of Greeneville, TN; grandchildren, Brad (Rhnea) Reagan, Wendy (Jason) Hansard, Wesley (Courtney) Trundle, Caroline (Anthony) Shelton, Holly (Joseph) Morgan and Andrew Tucker; great grandchildren, Keaton Hansard, Ansley Trundle, Jocie Pearl Trundle, and Tucker Shelton; brother, Paul (Brenda) Roberts; sisters-in-law, Betty DeLozier and Mary Lynn DeLozier; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Long officiating. The interment will follow in the Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3736 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37804 to be designated for mission work. The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff of Williamsburg Villas for their wonderful care of Pearl for the past eight years.
