Pauline J. McCroy The best mother a child could have, left from the same grounds on which she was born to celebrate the treasures of eternity in Heaven. Her departure came the morning of February 27, 2020. She had just turned 78 on February 11, 2020. Greeting her upon her arrival were her Husband of 51 years, Edward “Gary” McCroy, Son, Tony Edward McCroy, Parents, Paul and Velma Grindstaff, Brothers, JN and Ralph Grindstaff, Sister and Husband, Fred and Belinda (Grindstaff) Duncan, and Brother In Law, Homer Potter.

Those waiting to join her eternally are Daughter, Sherry Self and Brad of Maryville, TN, Son, Jeffrey “Scott” McCroy and Debbie of Creve Coeur, IL, Daughter, Regina Garner and Joe of Maryville, TN, Sister, Margaret Potter of Maryville, TN, Brother, Bill Grindstaff and Connie of Maryville, TN, Sister In Law, Marti Grindstaff of Maryville, TN, Brother In Law, Sam “Cheech” McCroy of Alcoa, TN and Sister In Law, Marlene (McCroy) Walker of Maryville, TN. Also left behind are her beautiful and much loved Grandchildren (Aaron, Sonya, Maggie, Amanda, Felica, Kim and Kendra) and Great-Grandchildren (Kylie, Shyann, Levi, Rocky and Portland).

Pauline was a proud retiree of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority at McGhee Tyson Airport.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 PM. The interment will immediately follow at Grandview Cemetery.
