Paul Kenneth Stoutt

May 23, 1926 — February 13, 2016

Paul Kenneth Stoutt, age 89, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center of Knoxville. Paul is a member of Fairview United Methodist Church of Maryville. He is a World War II veteran who fought in the European Theatre. It was in Heidelberg where he met and married his wife of 68 years, Hilda K. Dorsam. Paul was a member of the ALCOA 25-year club as well as The American Legion Post 0013. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Newton Stoutt Sr. And Lillie Mae Abbott Stoutt; his wife, Hilda Dorsam Stoutt; daughter, Helen Sue Stoutt Marshall; his grandson-in-law, Jeffrey Byrd; brothers, Henry Newton Stoutt Jr., George W. Stoutt, Jimmy L. Stoutt and Bobby H. Stoutt; sister, Mary Catherine Haney; sisters-in-law, Joy Stoutt and Bernice Yates Stoutt; brother-in-law, Jim Gary. He is survived by his daughter, Melitta Stoutt; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Lucy Stoutt; granddaughter, Tina Louise Byrd; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Rose Byrd; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Stoutt and Joni Stoutt Gary; brother-in-law, Bill Haney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 2508 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN 37803. Receiving of friends will be at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mickey Rainwater officiating. The interment will follow at the cemetery at Clover Hill Presbyterian Church in Maryville. The family wishes to give special thanks to the medical staff and workers at Parkwest of Knoxville and the Ben Atchley State Veterans Home in Knoxville. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982-6812
