Patricia "Patty" Ann Mccoy Phinney

Patricia (Patty) Ann McCoy Phinney, age 59, of Maryville, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, with her husband and family by her bedside. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marshaline McCoy; brothers, Richard Wayne McCoy, Mike McCoy, Rev David McCoy, and Earl McCoy, Jr.; sister, Linda Hand; brother-in-law, Douglas Phinney; sister-in-law, Carol Phinney; and granddaughter, Ariel Phinney. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 41 years, Lester Phinney, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Lester, Jr & Donna Phinney; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd & Helen Phinney; daughter, Elizabeth Phinney; and son and daughter-in-law, Marine SSgt Michael & Jennifer Phinney. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tanner, Ashleigh, Lester III, Cody, Haley, Hanna, Morgan, Priscilla, Justin, Jr., Gracie, Faith, Mikale, Kasina, Kora, Liam, and Aiden; sister, Helen Wright; favorite aunts, Annie and Frances; special friends, Carolina, Barbra, Sharon, and Nancy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Patty was a homemaker and an active member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Besides spending time with family, Patty truly loved God, music, gardening, building, and writing. She published her first book, "Mckayla's Rainbow," in 2011; and has authored a second book, yet to be published. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville. A celebration of Patty's life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 25, 2014, at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Maryville with Darryl Wilson officiating.
