Patricia Ann Marion

Patricia Ann Marion, age 82, passed away March 19, 2022, after a long and painful illness. She is survived by her husband of 64 plus years, Rondald Marion. They moved to Maryville 48 years ago after her husband’s 20-year US Navy career. Born in Lexington, KY, she considered the mountains of East Tennessee her home, but never-the-less swore her blood still ran Kentucky Blue. She and her husband were avid travelers through out the US and Canada, as well as some 16 or so countries in Europe. Their favorite destinations were the Scottish Highlands and Ireland, to which they returned multiple times, staying in everything from castles and thatch roof cottages. Also left behind are special friends, Darrick, Rebecca and Briley Blankenship, Mary Allmon, Tammy Worley, Anna Kaye Morgan, and Kari McClain. In addition, her close friends, Pamela Deck and Doris Eaves, shared her passion for travel, and were often off on some travel adventure or other.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 23rd at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date, and her ashes will be scattered in the Caribbean, along with her beloved Schnauzer Max.
