Oveda Adams Anderson

Oveda Adams Anderson, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at home. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist of Alcoa where she shared her beautiful alto voice and her love for music. Preceded in death by her young son, David Lynn; husband of 72 years, B.H. Anderson; parents, Charlie E. Adams and Ivalee Buchanan Sartin; brother, Sherrill R. Adams; sister, Iva Sparks. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis K. Anderson, Sr and Connie; grandchildren, D. Keith Anderson, Jr and wife Erin of North Carolina, Leah Jane Johnson and husband Jeremy of Missouri; great-grandchildren, Anastasia, David, Colin and Charlotte(Lottie) Anderson, Zack and Luke Johnson; sisters, Carmel Crager of Michigan, Joyce Adams and sister-in-law, Clara Adams of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to our faithful and dedicated caregiver Anna McKee who cared for Oveda for over 6 years and to April McKee, Debbie Witte and Omega Simpson who also lovingly provided care for her. We also extend sincere appreciation to Blount Memorial Hospice and Pallative Care for their excellent service. The family will have a private burial and will announce the date and time for her Celebration of Life Service to be held in January.
