Ova Ann Montgomery

The siblings of Ova Ann Montgomery are saddened to announce our dear sisters’ death. Ann passed at Decatur Nursing Home with family present on January 4, 2025. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Creed and Indietta Montgomery and nephew, David Britton. She graduated from the University of Tennessee and went to work with TVA in Chattanooga for 35 years before retiring. 

Siblings are sisters, Wanda (JV) Britton and Susan (Mike) Shearin and brother, Roy (Betty) Montgomery. Ann also is survived by one niece and four nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Monday the 13th of January 2025 for friends and family at Baker’s Creek Cemetery. Roy Scarbrough will officiate, and McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home will be in charge of the body.

Contributions should be made to Baker’s Creek Cemetery in care of Jim Hall at 6005 Old Niles Ferry Pike in Greenback, Tennessee, 37742, in lieu of flowers.
