Norma Schmidt

Norma Schmidt, age 101, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Asbury Place. She was born in Colby, Wisconsin April 5, 1913 to William Frederick Roth and Linda Wendel Roth. She was preceded in death by son Billy Schmidt; and husband Dr. E. J. Schmidt. She is survived by her daughter Karen S. Goudelock and son-in-law Dr. D. S. Goudelock of Maryville; grandson Bill Dixon of Blythewood, SC; granddaughter, Tracy Walker and husband Scott Walker of Maryville. Mrs. Schmidt was a long standing member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Columbia, SC. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Asbury Place Skilled Care and Blount Memorial Hospice for their kind and loving care. A private service will be held at a later date.
