Norma Ann Crye Porter

Norma Ann Crye Porter, age 83, of Maryville passed away October 23, 2022, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a member of Nelson Chapel Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Friendsville High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Brooks Porter; parents, Clarence and Bonnie Crye; brother and sister-in-law, Manuel and Jane Crye.

She is survived by her son, Ray Porter; daughter, Kathy Porter; grandson, Evan Porter; Evan’s mother, Rebekah Porter; sisters, Alma Swaney, Jenny Johnston, Dedger (Roger) Gascho, Sheila (Eddie) Overton; brothers, Stanley (Donna) Crye, Ted (Tammy) Crye; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; special family friend, Ann Peterson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service at 11:00 AM, Thursday at Nelson Chapel Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nelson Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
