Nina Long Shamblin- October 26, 1925 - December 12, 2014, Beloved devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was characterized by her unselfish giving of herself, resources, and many talents in service of others. She was also a member of First Baptist Church, Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by: father, Ray P. Long; mother, Cora (Collom) Long Atkins; husband, H.D. Shamblin; daughters, Caroline Jean Shamblin and Sharon Raye Parker; brothers, Alvin, Charles and Joe Long. Survivors: sons Richard and Alan; grandchildren, Lorraine Patterson, Ryan Shamblin, Yvette Justice, Kristen Clippard, Benjamin Shamblin; greatgrandchildren, Holly and Lauren Patterson, Sydney Gilreath and Jenna Shamblin, Anna Robinson, Nathan and Carleigh Clippard; special family Willow Dean Robinson and Dean Long; other cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home or call at their convenience at the funeral home.
