Neubert R. Harless - age 72 of Maryville Passed away Sunday, August 29, 2004 at his home. He was a graduate of Friendsville High School received his B.S. Degree from Maryville, College earned a M.S. Degree in School Administration from the University of Tennessee and has completed an additional 45 hours beyond the Masters Degree in Education Administration and Supervision. He was employed for over 40 years by the Blount County School System. He was Teacher and Guidance Counselor at Walland High School, Principal at Friendsville High School, Supervisor of Secondary Education and Transportation, and Principal at Rocky Branch Elementary School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, owner of H & H Produce and was a part time farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jennings and Anna Mae Robbins Harless. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Payne Harless; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Dr. Jesse A. Robinette; grandson, Patton Robinette; granddaughters, Payton, Paxton, and Preston Robinette, all of Maryville; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Tressie Henry and family of Lakeland, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Diane Harless, of Knoxville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bill Feezell, Gaynell and Dan Lawson all of Maryville; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Malynda Abbott, Dr. David Cook, and Kelly Lindsay. Friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Carl White officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
