Myrtle ''Mrs. Max'' Everett

Myrtle Mrs. Max Everett, age 95 of Maryville, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at the family home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church since the early 1950's and very active in various church organizations and the W.M.U. Preceded in death by her husband, Max; parents, Ralph and Mary Best; brothers, Leonard and Ernest Best. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Everett and friend, Marilyn Willocks and Bill and Kay Everett all of Maryville; grandchildren, Amy Everett and husband Doug, Lynn and Shannon Everett, Eddie and Angie Everett, and Everett and Ashlie Christen; great grandchildren, Max, Will, Anna Kate Everett, Reyla Blair and Spencer Christen; sister-in-law, Edna (Mrs. Ernest) Best; several nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thanks to mothers great friends and caretakers, Carmen Bramblett, Ruby Barrillbeaux, Helen Wolfe, Sarah Begley and Wilma Effler. A very special thank you to the Blount Memorial Hospice nurses. In accordance with mothers wishes, funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Ted Davis officiating. The interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Pall Bearers will be Jim Patty, Jim Caldwell, Larry Brown, Mike Blevins, David Pesterfield, and Dan Blevins.
