Myers D. Boring, Sr.

BORING, SR., Myers D., age 74 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007, in Florida. He was born on October 25, 1932, to Cordie Myers and Murray Boring in Cades Cove, TN, he was a member of First Pentecostal Church, Maryville, retired from the U. S. Navy and a member of the Cades Cove Preservation Association. Survivors include his daughter, Robin Boring and husband Paul Blais of Orlando, FL; son, Myers D. Boring, Jr. (Bubba) of Wewahitchka, FL; only grandchild, Darby Blais of Orlando, FL; brother, M.T. Boring of Maryville; sisters, Myrtrude Homes and Myrna Hall both of Maryville. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist Church Cemetery in Cades Cove for a graveside service with Rev. Harley Arwood officiating.
