Mitsuaki ''Mike'' Taira

TAIRA, MITSUAKI (MIKE) - age 45, passed away suddenly Nov. 4, 2009, while on vacation. Employed by DENSO Corporation, Kariya City, Japan, he was on assignment at DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, where he served since 2006 as a coordinator in the Starter/Alternator Division. He had a 27-year career with DENSO and was also instrumental with training programs during the 1990 production startup of DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Reiko Taira; and his mother, Tsuzuko Taira. The family will receive friends Thursday at 3:30-4:35 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the memorial ceremony to follow at 5 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be some of his fellow associates at DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee.
