Millie Reva Barto

February 5, 1915 — February 22, 2013

Millie Reva Barto- age 98 of Maryville, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at Asbury Place. She was born in Florence, NC and moved to New York at age 16 to go to school and where she married her husband. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and was a very devoted Catholic. She was also an avid Yankees fan and loved by all her friends. Preceded in death by her husband, George B. Barto; daughter, Patricia Barto; infant son, James Barto. Survivors include her children, Sister Juanita Barto, RSM and Norma B. Young both of Pennsylvania, Marie DiGiovanni of Maryland, Frances Gallagher and predeceased husband William of Alcoa, George L. Barto and wife Ruth of Connecticut, Judy Sinnott and husband Dennis, Janice Winston and husband Kennth all of New York; She deeply loved her 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and many many nieces and nephews Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Bill McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with a Rosary Service to follow. Mrs. Barto will be interred Monday, March 4th, 2012 in St. Patricks Cemetery in Bay Shore, New York. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. The family is very grateful for all the loving care that their mother receieved from everyone at Asbury Place, especially those on 2 south.
