Millie A. Calhoun - age 81 of Maryville died Saturday, February 14, 2004 after a brief illness. She was born March 14, 1922 in Robbinsville, NC and was the wife of the late Harrison Calhoun. She had been a resident of Blount County since 1940. Millie attended First Baptist Church of Alcoa for over 30 years. She loved her family and friends and took great joy in helping and serving others. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Martha Crisp; brother, Cliff Crisp; sister, Nell Eisenhower. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and David Wagner, of Huntersville, NC, Peggy and Jay Hall, of Lexington, KY; special grandchildren, Travis and Michael Hall; brother, Joe Crisp; sister, Ola Brooks, both of Robbinsville, NC. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Shamblin officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
