Mickey was a beloved man who loved his family and friends deeply. His God was number one in his heart and his life. His wife, kids, and grandkids were second, and he would do anything for them. In fact, he would do anything for anyone he loved. If he loved you, you were important in his life. He tried to do what he could to help others. And I can’t talk about his love for others without mentioning his cat, Jack; he loved that cat dearly and he was Mickey’s baby. Mickey’s favorite thing to do was watch television; he loved John Wayne movies, westerns like Gunsmoke, and he watched M*A*S*H every single day. Mickey’s other great loves were music and football. He played the drums in his younger years, and he would tell anyone who would listen about his days playing in a band and touring the country. He loved Bob Seger and Celine Dion the most, but he loved a wide array of music in every genre. Of course, anyone who knew him knew that he was a huge football fan; his teams were the Maryville Rebels, Tennessee Volunteers, and the Los Angeles Rams. He was a kind, loving generous human being. He loved to make people laugh, he loved to make them smile, but he would also cry with you when you needed him to. Mickey will be very missed and will forever be greatly loved.
