Mearl Faye Holder Clabough, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, born January 26, 1927, died October 5, 2014, from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Melvin E. Clabough, Jr.; parents, Ben and Zora Whitehead Holder; brothers, Sampson, Henry, and J. G. Holder; sisters, Gladys Miller, Gusta Amburn, and Reba Woods. Survived by daughter, Carolyn Anderson and fianc Harold Wheeler, grandson, Sean Anderson and wife K.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Larry Grant, grandson, Jeff Grant, and granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Aaron Ray, and great granddaughter, Olivia Kate Ray; brother, R. C. Holder; sister, Lexie Cooper; sister-in-law, Brenda Holder; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. with Harold Ray, Minister, officiating.
