Maxine R. Walker

Maxine R. Walker -age 89 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was born March 24, 1921. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Alcoa. Preceded in death her husband, Wiley H. Walker; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Grace and Glenn F. Hitch Sr; son, Norman Walker; infant daughter, Dora Ellen Walker; parents, Mack and Mary Bales. Survivors include: grandson, Glenn F. Hitch Jr. and wife Donna; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. George Gilbert officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m Tuesday at Sherwood Mausoleum for the entombment.. The family will receive friends 5:00-6:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Central Baptist Church, 962 Springbrook Road, Alcoa, TN 37701.
