Maxine Pitts McMahan Redwine passed away March 2, 2020. Preceded in death by husbands, Clark McMahan and Edgar O. Redwine; step-son, Joseph Redwine; parents, Sam and Bessie Pitts.

She was born September 21, 1926 in Tellico Plains. She graduated from Tellico Plains High School and Knoxville Business College. She was employed by ALCOA for 38 ½ years. She was an active member of Broadway United Methodist Church for over 60 years.

She is survived by step-son, Stephen Redwine and wife, JoAnn of Knoxville; step-daughter-in-law, Donna McMurtree of Daniel Island, SC; step-grandson, David Redwine and wife, Casey; great-granddaughter, Kate; special friend, Bonnie Batey.

Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 6, 2020 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Broadway United Methodist Church, 309 E. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37804.
