Maxine M. Giles

Maxine M. Giles, age 71 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, April, 23, 2006, at U.T. Medical Center. She was a member of the Professional Business Women’s Association and Cancer Survivors Care Network. She was preceded in death by her father, Max L. Miller; mother, Jean Filipowicz Miller; aunt, Rose Goldberg. Survivors include her children, John Giles and wife Linda R. Giles, Steve Giles and wife Tara Giles, Robert Giles and wife Janet Giles; Denise Gainer and husband Tony Gainer; grandchildren, John Wampler, Angela Wampler of Jasper, TN, Tabitha K. Giles, Nick Giles and Rebecca Giles of Maryville, Steven Giles, Aaron Giles, Alex and Adam Giles of Ashland City, TN, Brandon Giles, Nicholas Giles and Matthew Giles of Lebanon, TN, Michael and Justin Giles of Chicago, IL; great grandchild, Donovan Pickett of Jasper, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Burton A. and Jean Miller of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Karen M. Borucki of Chicago and Jean C. Blackmon of CO; nephews and nieces, Clint and Craig Borucki of Chicago, Burt, Doug and Bradley Miller of Alaska, Debby Blackmon of CO, David Blackmon of WA, Dandree Blackmon of TX and Renata and Letta Borucki of Chicago; dear and special friends, Ken and Carroll McBrayer, Jean Hampton of Knoxville, Jeanne Porter of Loudon, Jerry Kowalczyk of Libertyville, IL, Dean Dishman and Dorlis Waters both of Maryville; special remembrances for numerous family and friends in the Knoxville and Chicago areas. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kim Isley officiating. The interment service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Grandview Cemetery.
