Max E. Thomas

Max E. Thomas, age 79 of Walland, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith, was a veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from ALCOA after 41 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest S. and Mary C. Walker Thomas; sister, Nell Marie Thomas Wilson; brother-in-law, Lee A. Wilson Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, William R. and Kathryn Thomas of Bowling Green, KY; nephews, Thomas Lee Wilson and wife Betty Gail of Maryville, Joe Allen Wilson and wife Becky of Walland, Michael R. Thomas of Lexington, KY, David P. Thomas and wife Prakhong of Glasgow, KY; niece, Mary Thomas Burns and husband Jeffrey of Princeton, WV; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
