Maude Elizabeth Carpenter Wilson passed away September 22, 2013, at the age of 91 while residing at Broadmore Assisted Living Center in Johnson City. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) L. Wilson. They resided in Maryville prior to their marriage in 1948 and continued to live there throughout their marriage. During World War II Maude worked as support staff at the Y-12 facility in Oak Ridge. Later she worked at Judy Tipton's Fashion and also at Minton's for a number of years. She was a faithful member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Maryville for over 50 years. She is survived by her one son, Robert L. Wilson, Jr. and wife Sharon of Johnson City; two grand daughters, Kelli Stanberry and her husband Cameron, and Jada Boyd and her husband Clark; and three great grandchildren, Maddie Stanberry and Wilson and Blair Ellen Boyd. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28th, from 4:30 until 6:00 o'clock at McCammon Ammons Click Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29th, at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating.
