Maude Anderson Haworth

Maude Anderson Haworth, 95 of Maryville, passed away peacefully at Blount Memorial Hospital on February 22, 2010. She was born October 25, 1914, to A.E. and Nola Anderson. She was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother who had a quick wit and loved to laugh. She enjoyed playing Skip Bo and was ready to teach anyone wanting to learn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie J. Haworth; son, Gary C. Haworth; brother, Paul Anderson; sisters, Mae Moore and Myrel Hammontree. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Anne Haworth; daughter, Patricia Haworth of Maryville; daughter-in-law, Jean Haworth of Walland; grandchildren, Mickey and Angie Haworth, Tammy and Todd Merriman, Wesley Haworth all of Maryville, Mark Haworth of CA, and Dennis and Dawn Barnes of Greenback; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and all the friends at Partridge Place. Many thanks to care givers Joyce Morgan, Wanda Holland, and Debbie Blackstone. A special thank you to Dr. Shafi and Blount Dialysis staff, and all the staff with Rural Metro who was so kind and considerate to her. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Ailey and Dr. Dale Ellenburg officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
