Maude Anderson Barker

Maude Anderson Barker, age 89 of Maryville, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Monday morning, March 22, 2010 at Shannondale of Maryville Health Care Center. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville. She graduated from Alcoa High in 1940. She worked many years at Blount National Bank, J.C. Penney Co. As Office Assistant Cashier, and Walker Supply Co. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Arthur “C.A.” Barker; her parents, Thomas A. Anderson and Miriam Bowers Hodge; sister, Pearl A. Walker; brothers, Thomas Edgar “Ed” Anderson, Lonnie Lynn “Moody” Anderson, and George G. “Boot” Anderson. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Barton Wade of Louisville; granddaughter, Robyn Stott of Louisville; great-granddaughter, Amber Renee Stott; great-grandson, Zachary Barton Stott of Louisville; brother and sister-in-law, B.H. and Oveda Anderson of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Emma Grace Anderson of Alcoa; Mary Ruth Anderson of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Tony Collins and rev. David Webster officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
