Watkins, Mary Singleton age 90 of Maryville passed away Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by: Husband, Ray Watkins. Brothers, Lee Singleton and Hugh Singleton. Sisters, Ruth Jackson and Helen Chitwood. Survivors include: nieces, Betty Singleton Goodsell of Alabama. Marion Singleton of Richmond, KY. Cousin, Wilma Coulter of Maryville. Special friends, Sgt. Major Earl L. Hurley USMC Retired of Corbin, KY. Ronald and Nadine Russell, Sherry Newsom, and Frank Bird all of Maryville. Family and friends will meet 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at Magnolia Cemetery for graveside services and interment. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
