Mary Ruth Huffstetler Dunlap

DUNLAP, Mary Ruth Huffstetler, age 78 of Maryville, was at Ft. Sanders Hospital when she went to meet Jesus on Monday, December 30, 2002. She was born on October 20, 1924 and was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Ocey Downey; brother, Owen Downey and husbands, Luther Huffstetler and J. E. Dunlap. Survivors include her children and their spouses: Linda Rasor, Kathryn Head, Patsy and Dennis Cunningham, Kenneth and Karen Huffstetler, Rebecca and Larry Self, and Andrew and Judy Huffstetler; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Estel and Mildred Downey; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Oscar Best; former son-in-law, Bill Rasor. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2002, in McCammon- Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Benic Hampton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment service.
