Mary Jane Saunooke

Mary Saunooke, age 60 of Maryville, left her earthly bounds on her journey to Heaven Monday afternoon. In the past months, she had inspired many with her courage and spirit as she fought her illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Saunooke; parents, Charles and Ruby Robinson of Maryville; brother, Sam Robinson; uncle, Maj. James Robinson. She leaves behind son, Tony Saunooke; daughters, Natalie Saunooke of Maryville, Rhonda Robinson of Knoxville; many family members in Cherokee, NC, Robbinsville, NC and Knoxville, TN. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service.
