Mary Frances ''Fran'' Miller

MILLER, Mary Frances (Fran), age 78 of Maryville went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 9th, 2006. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Masters degree in Education, she served as a teacher for 32 years and retired from the Maryville City School system. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority. She was an active member of Everett Hills Baptist Church and also served in the Ladies Gideon Auxiliary. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd (Whitey) James and Edith McGinley James; brother, Floyd “Bud” James and sister, Margaret Hord. Survivors include husband Bobby E. Miller; son and daughter-in-law, James E. And Bonnie Miller of Signal Mountain, TN. Daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Mitch Kennedy of Maryville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Sarah Miller Hipp, William Miller, Andrew Miller all of Signal Mountain, TN and Kathryn Patterson of Maryville. Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00-6:00 pm with funeral services beginning at 6:00 pm with Rev. Wilburn Hoglen, Dr. John Franklin, and Rev. Ted Wichen officiating. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Chilhowee Baptist Center of Maryville or Gideons International.
