Mary Evelyn Green

 Mary Evelyn Bowerman Green - age 74 of Friendsville went home to be with the lord on Friday, June 21, 2002 at Fairpark Health Care Center. She was a member of Friendsville Baptist Church where she was the organist for many years. She was a former employee of Blount Memorial Hospital and also enjoyed teaching music in the Friendsville School System and at home. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents, James (Jim) and Pearl Bowerman; sister, Helen Williams and an unnamed infant sister; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Greene. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Hugh Green; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald (Tom) and Vicky Greene, Edmond and Betty Greene, and John and Randi Greene, all of Friendsville; granddaughter, Crystal Greene; grandsons, Edmond Jr., Jonathon and wife Lori Greene, Jeffrey Greene; step-granddaughter, Tina Murr; brothers and sister-in-law, James Ralph and Alva Bowerman, of Friendsville; Jack and Ruth Bowerman, of Rockwall, TX; several nieces nephews and aunts. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Pearson, Dr. Mark Grubb, Pastor Jackie Midkiff, Crystal Greene, and Tom and Vicky Greene officiating. Family and Friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Zions Chapel Cemetery for the interment service.
