Mary Elizabeth West Green

Mary Elizabeth West Green -age 90 of Maryville, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Logans Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired school teacher from Porter School where she taught for 42 years. She was also a volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital with 17,024 hours of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Max S. Green; daughter, Ann Joyce; parents, Floyd and Annie Taylor West; brother, William West. Survivors include: son-in-law, Ronnie Joyce; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sharon and Eddie Veillette; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael and Erica Joyce; great grandsons, Justin and Jacob Veillette, Connor Carter and Clayton Joyce; great granddaughter, Kaleigh Daugherty; sister-in-law, Phyllis West; nephews, Steve, Scott, and John West; also survived by special friend, Floyd Bumbalough Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Logans Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Armstrong officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
