Mary D. Crisp

Mary D. Crisp, age 85 of Maryville, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mary was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and worked as a door greeter at the Alcoa Wal-Mart for almost 22 years and met and loved many people. Lots of kids and adults came in with hugs and smiles for her, she loved them all. She especially loved the people she worked with. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Marshall; her mother and father, Melvina and Alvis Lett; stepfather, Will Woods; sisters, Leona Rucker, Geraldine Anderson; brothers, Harvey Lett, Hilt Lett and Joe Lett. Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Davis and husband Glenn; sons, Richard Crisp and wife Cindy, David Crisp and wife Mary; grandkids, Robyn Payne, Lisa Yates, Gary Crisp, Michael Crisp, Richard Crisp; great grandkids, Marshall Davis and wife Misty, Maykala Crisp, Danny Yates, Jordan Payne, Bradley Payne; 4 week old great great grandson, Sawyer Wade Davis; sister, Mae Kimbrell and husband Robert; brother, Jack Lett and wife Eileen; precious special friends, Shirley and George Lopota and sons; many many Church friends and friends from Wal-Mart she met everyday. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Thomas and Aaron Yoakum officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Morganton Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
