Mary Burns Storey

Mrs. E.A. (Mary Burns) Storey, of Maryville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lawson Burns of Townsend died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Shirley, J. Luther, Samuel Lee, Ray L.; Carl “Pete”, sister, Mae Burns Kolbe; husband, E.A. Storey. Survivors are, Roy and Ruth Burns of Ohio, Mrs. Nell Burns of Townsend; Mrs. Charlotte Burns of Greeneville and Earle Kolbe of Alcoa; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Storey was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Townsend High School, Maryville College, and a teacher in Blount County and Alcoa School systems. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home at 2 P.M. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 :00 to 8:30 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
