Martha Mary Ann Willocks McClurg passed away February 9, 2013 from recent health complications. She is survived by children Betty Shope (Maryville), Nancy and Joe Whitehead (Knoxville), Thomas McClurg and Grant Westfall (Madison, WI); grandchildren Kammi and Bart Kropff (Knoxville), Robert (Marty) and Joy Myers (Tony, AL), Jeff and Cindi Bivens (Auburndale, FL), and Madison Westfall (Madison, WI); and great grandchildren TJ Hooper (Knoxville),Zachery Myers (Tony, AL), and Brianna Bivens (Auburndale, FL). She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer McClurg, and daughter, Barbara Grossheim, parents Walter and Allie Willocks, and siblings Irene Brooks, Lucille Stone, Ella Mae Thompson, Leonard Willocks, Clarence Willocks, and Stella Weldon. Her 94 years (born October 5, 1918) were mostly lived in Maryville, TN. She was a life-long member of Central Baptist Church of Alcoa, TN. She shared love and beauty with many people through the quilts she made, the flowers she grew, and the delicious cakes she made over the years. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Logans Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, acknowledgments may also be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B. Rollins, 2330 Chesterfield Drive, Maryville, TN 37803.
